QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES. On the evening of May 24, 2008, members of Fondacio Philippines, students and formators of the Institute of Formation, and friends gathered together for Eucharist, fellowship, and to listen to first-hand testimonies about the recent cyclone Nargis which hit Myanmar, and killed tens of thousands of people, and left several more homeless and hungry.

PHILIPPINES - These last months after the Asian Congress have been a time for us as a community, headed by the Country team and the Formation team to fine-tune the orientations and objectives welcomed during the Congress. CHERAS, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Christians for a New World helped participants who are in their twenties, find meaning in their everyday lives. Twenty-one participants, aged 20-30 years, both single and married, attended the live-in weekend, held at IJ Convent, from July 28-30.

Fondacio, an international movement of single and married people from various social and professional backgrounds, animated the weekend, which also saw the participation of a few Myanmarese and Indonesian migrants.
